The project implies the doubling of the existing hydroelectric plant of Kalayaan with the execution of a new plant with two turbines of 175 MW each, positionned at - 40.5 metters below the sea level; rehabilitation of an existing dam generating the Caliraya lake, with the length of 480 m; rehabilitation of the connecting tunnel between Lumot and Calirayalakes (total length of 1800 m); rehabilitation of Botocan concrete dam new intake (1,2 km of tunnel). |
