Italy, Brenner (Bz) - Aica-Mules exploratory tunnel

Construction of the Brenner base tunnel: Aica-Mules exploratory tunnel with a length of 10,477m, with a cross section of 31.15 m2 and a diameter of 6.3m. - The excavation was carried out with a double shield TBM with an average production of 18m per day and peaks of 35m. - Passage connecting the Hinterrigger and Aica areas, tunnel of about 360m with a cross section of 30 m2. - The excavation is carried out using traditional methods – Mules shaft 1.767m long with a section of 92 m2 and an average gradient of 10% - The excavation is carried out using traditional methods and intersects the exploratory tunnel at the point of removal of the borer.
