The 3 projects are part of the extension of the existing lines of the Paris Metro, “Grand Paris Express” which is set to double, over the next ten years, the current underground transportation network creating 200 km of new lines. The section T2 and T3, developed for RATP – Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens, are characterized by the presence, below the alignment of the works, by an extensive network of tunnels dating back the past centuries. It includes the construction of the underground Bagneaux’s station, located at the depth of 17 mt, and 1.047 mt of artificial tunnel realized between diaphragms and retaining walls.
The Extension of the Haussmann Saint-Lazare, developed for SNCF Réseaux – Société nationale des chemins de fer français, is located in the heart of Paris. The connection between the actual station and the future new lines is an underground cavern, located at the depth of 30 mt, in order to avoid the existing metro network.
