In the past few weeks, coinciding with Prevention Month, two seminars were held as part of our Wellness Project, carried out in collaboration with LILT Parma.<\/p>\n

The first seminar, \u201cManaging Stress,\u201d was led by Dr. Paola Minno, Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist. The meeting provided valuable tools for dealing with daily stress, understanding the difference between eustress (positive stress) and distress (negative stress), and learning to recognize and manage one’s emotions. Through practical exercises, it was possible to recognize one’s body sensations and develop greater self-awareness.<\/p>\n

The second seminar, \u201cOncology Screening Programs and Vaccinations,\u201d was led by Dr. Francesco Leonardi, Director of Medical Oncology at the Azienda Ospedaliero – Universitaria di Parma. The meeting discussed primary oncology prevention, emphasizing the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles and habits, screening programs and the importance of promoting a culture of early diagnosis. In addition, tertiary prevention was examined, with a focus on physical and mental rehabilitation to support people already affected by cancer diseases in their recovery.<\/p>\n

Both seminars had a significant impact in order to create awareness, virtuous habits, and increased sensitivity to the importance of prevention and mental and physical well-being.<\/p>\n
