The work on the renovation, restoration and functional and plant adaptation of “La Casa d’Italia in Zurich” is proceeding at full speed.

After the construction phase, the first external activities with punctual excavations and arrangement of the covering cover are carried out.

Internally, however, the main demolition activities of non-structural seams and structural passages are almost completed. The plant is also being redefined.

The project involves the complete internal and external renovation of the building. The envelope will only be slightly renovated from an energy point of view (roof, doors and windows), since it is protected by the preservation of monuments. An access control booth will also be built at the entrance to the Consulate (Erismannstrasse 6).
