Villabate (PA): The construction site is entering its final phase

Work on the construction of the new social and multi-purpose centre in Villabate is proceeding according to schedule. This strategic urban regeneration project will transform a long-derelict area into a modern and safe hub dedicated to sport, services and community activities.

Work on site is currently focused on the assembly of the steel framework and timber roof structures – key stages that will soon enable all interior finishing work to begin. At the same time, specialist work on the electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems is progressing rapidly.

As the outdoor areas are gradually cleared, the final layout of the complex will also take shape, featuring sports pitches, children’s play areas and new street furniture for the neighbourhood.

Work will continue throughout August, with the start of plastering and external finishing works, whilst the final delivery of glulam timber is expected to complete the roofing.

The shared objective remains the final handover of the project by the end of September, finally giving the community a tangible and inclusive focal point.

Special thanks go to all the workers, technicians and partners involved who, through their daily efforts, are turning this ambitious project into reality.
