“Travel Risk Management” Conference
Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A. last Friday took part in the conference “Travel Risk Management: from the theory of ISO 31030 guideline to practice, the experience of companies,” organized by RINA.
The event opened with a talk by Franco Fantozzi, Senior Security Advisor at International SOS, who outlined effective strategies for dealing with permacrisis and improving travel risk management. Afterwards, the morning continued with a panel featuring the top five companies certified under ISO 31030, including Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A., represented by Paolo Cavatorta, QHSSE & ESG Director.
In his speech, he explained the structure of the Travel Risk Management Service, with the goal of ensuring the safety of our staff when traveling around the world. We have been working to improve this system, making it more integrated and enhancing travel control and traveler support. This journey has led us to achieve ISO 31030 compliance certification, an important recognition that certifies the quality of our approach to travel risk management.
To achieve ISO 31030 certification, we worked on three key aspects: greater integration between tools and providers, standardization of decision-making processes, and automation and digitization to reduce operational risks. Thanks to these improvements, today our system is more effective, responsive and safer for travelers. Adopting these principles has enabled us to ensure clear criteria in authorizations and automate the flow of information. This approach has made it possible to centralize travel management, reduce operational risks and improve responsiveness in emergencies.
The recognition of ISO 31030 certification represents an important milestone, confirming the quality of Impresa Pizzarotti’s approach to travel risk management and its constant attention to the safety of its staff.
