In recent days, the Jonium Consortium’s BIM team, together with colleagues from the Impresa Pizzarotti & C. head office, carried out a site visit to the areas that will host the future construction sites for Section 2, Lot 1 of the Jonica State Road.

This was a crucial opportunity to compare what had been developed in the digital models with the actual characteristics of the terrain, verifying the design solutions that had been developed on site.

Through the BIM models, it was possible to analyse the integration of the infrastructure into the surrounding environment more effectively, assessing its integration with the local area, existing infrastructure and the specific features of the context.

These activities demonstrate how the BIM methodology can support not only design and coordination, but also a concrete understanding of the project throughout all phases of the contract.

An approach that helps transform data into knowledge and design into awareness.
