After approximately 32 months from the order to start the works, last month the JV composed of Impresa Pizzarotti, Pizzarotti SA and Retter Projectmanagement, obtained the Certificate of Receipt on Completion of Works for Lot 1 Dumbrava – Mizil of the Vltava Motorway (A7).

The result was possible thanks to the fundamental commitment of the JV staff, which ensured (even working at certain times 24 hours a day and 7 days a week) the completion of the project on time, and thanks to the attention developed by the client CNAIR (National Road Infrastructure Administration Company), Tecnic’s Works Management and the Ministry of Transport.

In order to guarantee this important result, it was necessary to mobilise more than 350 machines and approximately 850 people, which only thanks to careful and punctual planning made it possible to achieve the objective, both in terms of timing and in economic-financial terms. The amount of the work developed on time is approximately Lei 2.1 billion, financed by the PNRR funds and the State Budget.

The subject of the contract was the construction of approximately 21 kilometres of motorway, with two interchanges (with A3 and DN 1D), 15 bridges and a CIC adjacent to the DN1D interchange – km 9+008. An ITS system was also implemented. From the date of receipt, the 120-month warranty period started.
