“PROJECT MANAGER FOR A DAY”: IMPRESA PIZZAROTTI HOSTED THE THREE WINNING STUDENTS OF THE PROGRAM

A day spent between projects, construction sites, training and the future.

Jacopo Rossi, PM for a day in the Parma office, says: “My day as Project Manager for a day, spent in the offices of Impresa Pizzarotti’s headquarters, was extremely rich and educational. Learning the theory at university and seeing it applied in the field was truly enlightening and I had the opportunity to follow activities related to the Brescia infrastructure project. The young and enterprising environment gave me a strong motivation for the future.”

Thanks to participation in the master’s degree curated by ANIMP and IPMA on Project Management, I had the opportunity to spend a day on the construction sites of Castellammare and Pompeii supported by Mario Barbati, Project Manager of the Naples area. In Castellammare, the project involves the doubling railway of the Circumvesuviana line, a tunnel of approximately 450 metres, consolidation works and the new Stabia Scavi station. In Pompeii, the project aims to improve road connections with two vehicular underpasses and the redevelopment of Piazza Bartolo Longo and the Pompeii EAV station. Sanctuary. Although short, it was an intense experience that allowed me to understand the various professional aspects involved in these infrastructural works.” At the Cuma purification plant instead, Pasquale Di Barba, supported by Martina Esposito, Deputy Plant Manager. After an overview of the purpose of the plant and the main activities involving the staff, we carried out an inspection, focusing in particular on the new sections and the technologies installed. – he said – I had the opportunity to meet with some sector managers , who, in addition to showing me the main activities carried out, underlined the importance of the synergy of working in the plant. I immediately felt in tune with the workers, who pleasantly involved me in the daily activities. I actively participated in the reactivation of some sections and took part in short briefings aimed at optimizing some phases of the work.”
