Work continues on the Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni Penitentiary Citadel in French Guiana, a major, complex project requiring coordination, specialist skills and solid organisation. On the foundations front, two teams are working in parallel to construct the piles.

The aim is to free up the first buildings for the heavy carpentry teams to move in and start assembling the first two cranes. Excavation work has also been ongoing for several months, a key step in enabling the filling work and start-up of nearby buildings.
