The Naples North Plant has a treatment capacity of 866,000 population equivalent.

Built in the 1980s, it underwent re-functionalization and upgrading in 2018.

Since then, it has been managed and operated by Pizzarotti. Some characteristics:

• Average flow rate of about 115,776 m³/d.
• The water line includes 8 biological lines in parallel and 8 between primary and secondary clarifiers.
• The plant includes tertiary filtration treatment and disinfection with UV technology.
• The Sludge Line includes anaerobic digestion, thermal drying of digested sludge.
