Since 2013, Impresa Pizzarotti has been responsible for the full-risk routine and non-routine maintenance of the buildings and fixed facilities at the hospitals in Prato and Pistoia, as well as for the management of non-medical and commercial services at the four hospitals in Massa-Apuane (360 beds), Lucca (410 beds), Prato (540 beds), and Pistoia (400 beds).

The initiative is part of a broader project finance initiative that included the design, construction (2009–2013), and 20-year management of the four hospital facilities located in Tuscany.

Activities include routine and major maintenance of systems and civil works, as well as the management of food service and cleaning operations, with the aim of ensuring high standards of safety, functionality, and quality of the facilities for the benefit of patients and staff.
