Naples–Bari railway line, Hirpinia–Orsara section. The route is mainly underground, with a double-tube tunnel for a total length of 28.06 km, built using both traditional and mechanized methods. Every 500 meters there is a bypass connection between the two pipes. 

Project awarded, developed and launched by a JV in which Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.a. held a stake together with other industrial partners. On 30 June 2026, Impresa Pizzarotti’s share was transferred to a company within the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, along with all relevant appurtenances (human resources, equity interests, contractual arrangements, technical and experiential requirements, etc.)
