Doubling, on the new site of the Codogno Cremona Mantova line, limited to lot 3 of the Piadena Mantova section (34 km). The project includes the construction of civil works, railway armament, contact lines and technological systems. The doubling is partly (Piadena Bozzolo section 8 km) alongside the historic line in the presence of railway operations and partly (Bozzolo Mantova section 26 km) in interruption of railway operations. The route includes the construction of four viaducts spanning over 350 meters, as well as overpassing works and a 30-meter artificial tunnel. The project is funded by PNRR funds. 

Project awarded, developed and launched by a JV in which Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.a. held a stake (acting as the lead partner) together with other industrial partners. On 30 June 2026, Impresa Pizzarotti’s share was transferred to a company within the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, along with all relevant appurtenances (human resources, equity interests, contractual arrangements, technical and experiential requirements, etc.)
