Works related to civil works, railway armament, electric traction and technological systems of the Verona AV/AC Node – West Entrance. The project is an integral part of the transport structure of the Milan–Padua high-speed/high-speed line, which integrates with the Brescia Est–Verona high-speed/high-speed line and the Verona high-speed/high-speed hub – East Entrance. The work consists of the construction of the functional works at the entrance to the Brescia-Verona line at Verona Porta Nuova station, through the construction of a 3.6 km new high-speed/high-capacity line and a new 3.3 km freight line dedicated to freight trains and connected to the future Verona freight interconnection. 

Project awarded, developed and launched by a JV in which Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.a. held a stake (acting as the lead partner) together with other industrial partners. On 30 June 2026, Impresa Pizzarotti’s share was transferred to a company within the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, along with all relevant appurtenances (human resources, equity interests, contractual arrangements, technical and experiential requirements, etc.)
