The project involves the renovation of part of the existing emergency room building and the construction of a new building for the New Emergency and First Aid Service. The design of the new building favors harmonization with the surrounding urban context, the humanization of internal spaces, the use of advanced and environmentally friendly technologies and the best integration between natural and artificial light with a view to maximum energy saving. The new building is structured around 3 levels: Ground floor with covered parking (27 parking spaces) used by technicians and the public, changing rooms and technical rooms. – First floor composed of a waiting room, entrance, triage, radiological unit, pediatric unit, area for high priority interventions and area for medium priority interventions. – Second floor is purely technical and includes the aeraulic systems and the load-bearing structure of the shell-shaped zinc-titanium cladding.
