Naples–Bari railway line, Orsara–Bovino section, between pk 29+050 (Bovino, even track) and 40+889 (entry into the Orsara tunnel), including railway track, electric traction systems and other railway technologies. The route, 11.8 km long in total, runs mainly underground, with approximately 10 km in a double-tube tunnel. Every 500 metres there is a bypass connecting the two pipes, which converges in the final 320 m section into a double-track tunnel. 

Project awarded, developed and launched by a JV in which Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.a. held a stake together with other industrial partners. On 30 June 2026, Impresa Pizzarotti’s share was transferred to a company within the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, along with all relevant appurtenances (human resources, equity interests, contractual arrangements, technical and experiential requirements, etc.)
