Impresa Pizzarotti participated in the construction of Italy’s longest highway, still essential today for connecting the entire peninsula: this is the A1 Milan-Naples highway, known as the Autostrada del Sole or more briefly Autosole, which connects Milan to Naples by crossing the country internally and passing through Bologna, Florence and Rome. The Autostrada del Sole is characterized as a public work of great technological value, still admired all over the world.
