Pizzarotti with E2C: a second chance for young people
Creating real opportunities for young people means building lasting value for the communities in which we operate. It is from this conviction that the partnership signed on 11 February 2026 between Impresa Pizzarotti and the École de la 2ème Chance (E2C France) was born.
The School of Second Chances supports young people aged between 16 and 25, who are often distant from the world of work due to complex personal circumstances, on a reintegration pathway comprising training and practical experience. The four-month programme alternates remedial courses with work placements on construction sites, offering them the chance to discover the trades of the construction and public works sectors. At the end of the programme, Impresa Pizzarotti will be able to make a tangible contribution to their professional future by offering opportunities to join the company through work-study schemes or long-term collaborations.
This initiative forms part of the social clauses linked to the project for the construction of the Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni Prison Complex in French Guiana, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact.
A first significant milestone in this collaboration took place on International Women’s Day, when we had the pleasure of welcoming four E2C trainees to the construction site. Their presence enriched a meeting dedicated to our female employees, bringing an external, curious and stimulating perspective.
We believe that offering a second chance means opening up new paths, not only for the young people involved, but also for the future of our communities.
A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this initiative possible.
