Pizzarotti Safety Day: our commitment continues on our construction sites in Italy and abroad
Following the Pizzarotti Safety Day, held at the Parma Chamber of Commerce, our construction sites in Italy and abroad followed up on the discussions that emerged during the event with a series of operational and training activities that directly involved staff, with a common goal: to promote a shared culture of safety.
At the Piadena-Mantua railway doubling construction site, the staff of the La Bozzoliana Consortium took part in a safety walk with a tour of the work areas, focusing in particular on the demolition of the railway viaduct over the River Oglio. In Lucignano, the plant hosted a training activity on first aid with an AED defibrillator (BLSD course), conducted by rescue personnel, an external doctor and a trainer. In Pontetaro, on the other hand, an important dialogue was opened with the participation of ANMIL, the National Labour Inspectorate and the Parma Local Health Authority.
At the Cepav construction site, an emergency simulation was carried out to rescue an injured person from a foundation pit: a crucial exercise to test procedures and response times in real time.
Finally, in French Guiana, workers attended training sessions on first aid and fire prevention, accompanied by a presentation of the prevention campaign against falls on level ground. The latter was also shared with the CHU in Guadeloupe, where staff were involved in awareness-raising and refresher activities.
Attention to safety involves daily actions, awareness, training and collaboration. A shared commitment that translates into concrete actions. Thank you all!
