Pizzarotti in Cameroon for an innovative and pioneering project in sub-Saharan Africa

Recovery of housing deficit compared to the needs of over a million people, provide efficient technological solutions, sustainable, economically viable and ecologically sustainable through an integrated and endogenous industrialisation process for the construction sector.

These are just some of the primary objectives of a project that, through the realization of housing and related socio-cultural instructions in Yaoundé, will provide Cameroon with an industrial factory for the mass production of housing using methods other than traditional methods applied locally and will transfer fundamental knowledge and technologies aimed at building capacity both to the private sector construction, and to the institutional one.

To date, the progress of work is 25%, resulting from the construction of 74 housing units and more than 60% of the earthworks on the site of the industrial base, with a consumption of time of 30% and a financial consumption of 39%.
