The first of three sessions in the training programme for technicians at our Production Units took place in recent days, entitled ‘Pizzarotti Concrete Lab: Durability and Defects in Concrete: Common Mistakes and Recommendations for the Correct Construction of Reinforced Concrete and Pre-stressed Concrete Structures’.

The speaker at the session was Prof. Matteo Felitti, a university lecturer, consultant specialising in the infrastructure sector and a recognised expert in the diagnostics, deterioration and durability of concrete structures.

Conceived and organised by our colleague Elena Montemurro from the Quality Division of the QHSSE & ESG Department at Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A., as part of the company’s technical development and training activities, this initiative marks the first event in a series of high professional value, aimed at consolidating and disseminating specialist knowledge that is fundamental to the quality and durability of the works we carry out, both on our construction sites and in our precast plants.
