The works of the Piadena-Mantova railway line, commissioned by RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, with the works management of Italferr S.p.A., to the Grouping of Enterprises Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A., Saipem, Gruppo ICM and Salcef Group continue.

In recent days Salcef has concluded, in the closed section, that is from Bozzolo to Mantova, the removal of the track until near the station of Mantova. The removal of tracks in the stations of Marcaria and Castellucchio is also being completed, while that on the bridge over the river Oglio will be eliminated during the demolition of the structure. Preliminary work is also under way on the construction of eight railway tracks to replace the corresponding level crossings on the line. During this week was thrown the foundation plinth of the pile 3 of the overpass on sp 67 to Marcaria, interrupted to traffic until October 2025.

Work is being done on the preparation of the heads of the foundation poles for the rail bridge (IV 25) in front of the base camp, close to the state road 10 at the gates of Bozzolo, south side of the existing railway; The construction of the foundation poles begins on the north side. As for the new bridge over the river Oglio, the laying of the iron on shoulder A, side Bozzolo is underway. At the same time, the same works continue on the overpasses in the territories of Castellucchio and Curtatone.

Specifically, just in Curtatone, next week will take the start of the war remediation at three, five and seven meters deep, preliminary to the excavation of the artificial tunnel that will allow the road Morante to overrun the new railway.
