Last week, as part of the Piadena-Mantua railway doubling project commissioned by RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, with Italferr S.p.A. (both companies belonging to the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group) acting as project manager and safety coordinator, the consortium of companies consisting of Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A., Saipem, Gruppo ICM, and Salcef Group, the metal deck (330 tons, 55 meters long) was launched on the railway bridge that will cross the SP67 road in Marcaria.

The operation was carried out with careful planning, expertise, and great attention to safety by all the companies involved.
