Last week, the works of Villa San Cataldo were handed over by the Director of Works Arch. Tosto, under the mandate of the Metropolitan City of Palermo represented by RUP Arch. Puleo. The works will begin in January 2025, with the site works and will be completed by June 2026.

The objective of the project, the restoration of the 18th-century garden of the Villa, the work of the famous Sicilian architect Giovan Battista Vaccarini (1702-1768), built in the mid-1700s on commission of the Galletti princes of San Cataldo.

The design approach will be one of conservative restoration in the areas endowed with the greatest historical, architectural and landscape value relative to the “Flora Grande” and a design approach of building redevelopment for the “Floretta,” always respecting the historical context, with a contemporary landscape interpretation and special attention to the enjoyment of citizenship of all age groups.

Best of luck to all the Pizzarotti staff in Bagheria for the start of a unique and prestigious project, both for our Company and for the entire Bagheria community.
