Line 6 subway: a seminar on the Arco Mirelli station
A seminar on the Arco Mirelli station of Metro Line 6 was held last week at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II, aimed at analyzing the work that led to the construction of the station, both from the engineering and the artistic and urban planning aspects.
Also present at the event as a speaker, along with other experts and institutional figures, was Ing. Mario Barbati, Technical Director of Impresa Pizzarotti.
The Arco Mirelli station was also accompanied by the redevelopment of the surrounding urban area, harmonizing it with the Municipal Villa, and by a precise choice in the use of materials, with steel and glass for the entrance pavilion and a structural articulation of five levels, with the platforms built at a depth of 26 meters.
