Learning and social engagement are at the heart of the BFPE project to build the hospital’s future and support local youth.

The construction site for the Women-Parents-Children (BFPE) building at La Timone Hospital (on behalf of the AP-HM) has established itself as a driver of integration and corporate social responsibility (CSR) for the Pizzarotti in the Bouches-du-Rhône department.

Last July 1°, the BFPE team had the honor of representing Pizzarotti at the Prefecture during an institutional roundtable discussion dedicated to apprenticeships.

The meeting highlighted the success of Zakaria, an apprentice assistant construction site manager, as well as the company’s integration methodology, which is based on:

• Field mentoring: rigorous field support from experienced teams to convey technical knowledge and human values.
• The concrete apprenticeship: a direct immersion in one of the largest hospital construction sites in the Marseille region.

The event took place in the presence of the Prefect delegated for equal opportunities Isabelle Epaillard, as well as representatives of France Travail, the Mission Locale, DEETS, local elected officials and economic partners.

La Prefetta publicly congratulated Zakaria on his exemplary apprenticeship journey and warmly welcomed the BFPE team’s commitment to young people, AP-HM, and the Marseille region.
