Production of the segments has officially begun at the Pizzarotti Prefabbricati plant in Baragiano, destined for the ‘Saginara GN04’ and ‘Piano Grasso GN06’ tunnels, part of the project for the new Salerno-Reggio Calabria high-speed/high-capacity railway line, Battipaglia-Romagnano section, lot 1A.

In recent days, the Works Management carried out an inspection to check the conformity of the reinforcement and concrete, with simultaneous approval for the start of production.

During a second visit to check the production of the first 9 rings, the Works Management expressed its compliments on the quality of the product.

The plant then received the blessing of the parish priest of the community of Baragiano, in the presence of all the workers.
