The new Scicli Community Hospital, built by the Pizzarotti Company in the pavilion “N” of the Busacca hospital, was inaugurated on 29 May 2026.

The opening ceremony of the new Community Hospital was held in the presence of Mayor Dr. Mario Marino, Prefect Dr. Tania Giallongo, General Director of the Ragusa Health Authority Dr. Giuseppe Drago, and Director of the Facility Dr. Claudio Caruso. We received many compliments for the work carried out by our Staff and our subcontractors present for the occasion: Samoter (civil works), Polizzi (electrical systems), CIT (mechanical systems) and Alfa Infissi (fixtures).

The project, drawn up by the designers of Studio Lenzi in Rome, led to the construction of a modern outpatient clinic, with high-end finishes and high-efficiency systems, as well as a new photovoltaic roofing system, the package of which has been completely redone. In total, 13 inpatient rooms were built for a total of 20 beds. Work began in July 2024 and was completed, subject to the contractual deadline, in December 2025.

In the first months of 2026, the ASP acquired both the furnishings and the personnel needed to make the facility fully operational.
