In the Municipality of Mazzano, Phase 1 of the Mazzano Junction, an important operation that will enable the connection between the HS/HC line and the conventional Milan-Venice line, was successfully activated on schedule.

The operation involved rail traffic in northern Italy, with the suspension of train traffic between Brescia and Verona for 50 hours. Activities focused in particular on signaling, lighting and motive power, telephony and railway equipment.
