Impresa Pizzarotti participated in the fourth edition of the Infrastructure Academy
The fourth edition of the Infrastructure Academy, a landmark event for the infrastructure sector organised by Hilti Italia in collaboration with the Associazione Infrastrutture Sostenibili (Sustainable Infrastructure Association), took place recently at the beautiful National Railway Museum in Pietrarsa.
The main focus of a day characterised by round tables, interactive work sessions and workshops, innovation and sustainability.
Representing Impresa Pizzarotti and addressing issues related to the evolution of the construction sector in terms of innovation and new technologies is Denise Po’, Innovation Director.
Experience, technology, innovation and sustainability are at the heart of our work. – stated – Innovation continues to play a key role, with the increasingly widespread adoption of enabling technologies such as BIM, Digital Twin, Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, and sustainable and innovative materials. All with a single goal: to improve the efficiency and sustainability of buildings.
Faster construction sites, more efficient machinery, more sustainable products, but without forgetting the safety factor, which has always been a top priority.
“We have launched important trials on our construction sites, introducing new technologies applied to safety, such as AI-based detection systems, IoT devices and intelligent monitoring systems. These tools now enable us to analyse, predict and mitigate risks in an increasingly effective manner. These applications will change the way we work on all construction sites and respond to the imperatives of SUSTAINABILITY, SAFETY and CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.”
However, achieving this change requires a collective effort from all stakeholders involved. Only through effective collaboration can we ensure that technological innovations are integrated into the construction industry.
