In recent days, during the Italy Digital Delivery Session 2025 organised by Bentley Systems, Impresa Pizzarotti presented some important developments in the field of site monitoring based on 4D models.

Marco Barbarulo, illustrated the work carried out by the BIM Team composed of Cristina Garilesi and Beatrice Riscaldati, who were able to exploit and expand the data contained in BIM models and 4D simulations.

The team showed how these tools can evolve from simple forecasting models to true dynamic site control tools, integrating time, quantity and progress information in real time.

This is a concrete example of how digital innovation, if well structured and supported by transversal skills, can become an enabling factor for a more efficient and conscious management of site activities.
