Last week saw the first awareness-raising and training meeting promoted by Impresa Pizzarotti and the Pizzarotti Foundation, open to the entire company, as part of the “The Force to Change: TOGETHER against Gender-Based Violence” program.

The event, titled “Gender Violence: We Investigate the Social Sources Behind Behavior”, offered a space for listening and discussion led by Giulia Selmi, sociologist and Associate Professor at the Department of Law, Political and International Studies at the University of Parma.

The meeting represented an important moment of reflection and discussion on the social and cultural dynamics that fuel gender-based violence, analyzed in all its forms: physical, psychological, verbal, and social. A moment of awareness that engaged our people, stimulating questions, discussion, and shared responsibility.

This first appointment marks the beginning of a broader journey, designed to promote a culture of respect and strengthen the role each of us can play in contributing to change, not only within the company but also within society.
