Extension of the RER E to the west opened to the public with three new stations: La Défense Grande Arche, Neuilly-Porte Maillot Palais des Congrès and Nanterre-la-Folie

In May 2024, the extension of the RER E to the west opened to the public with three new stations: La Défense Grande Arche, Neuilly-Porte Maillot Palais des Congrès and Nanterre-la-Folie.

Nanterre-la-Folie station will therefore be the new terminus of the line, before the final extension of RER E to Mantes-la-Jolie at the end of 2026.

Impresa Pizzarotti, within a Franco-Italian group, carried out for its customer SNCF Réseau the civil engineering works for the Haussmann Saint-Lazare tunnel (HSL), in the 8. arrondissement of Paris, which connects the rear station Haussmann Saint-Existing 4-lane lazare (HSL) to the new 2-lane EOLE tunnel excavated with planer.

With a total length of about 173 ml, the work is divided into 7 rooms of different sizes and structures.

Congratulations to the team involved in this project!
