Award ceremony for the “Ingenio al Femminile” Degree Thesis

The fifth edition of the “Tesi di Laurea Ingenio al Femminile” (Female Ingenuity Degree Thesis) Award, an initiative promoted by the National Council of Engineers in collaboration with Cesop HR Consulting Company and supported again this year by Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A. as Ambassador company, has come to a successful conclusion.

The central theme of the 2025 edition was ‘Artificial intelligence for the new challenges of 2050’. The focus highlighted the importance of the role of women in the development of cutting-edge technologies and in reducing the gender gap in STEM, in line with Goal 5 of the UN 2030 Agenda on gender equality. This edition also saw the awarding of prizes for the five best degree theses.

The prizes awarded were as follows: Civil and Environmental Engineering Prize, Industrial Engineering Prize, Information Engineering Prize, Giulia Cecchettin Prize for Biomedical Engineering, Doctoral Thesis Prize and Honourable Mention.

Impresa Pizzarotti once again confirms its commitment to diversity and inclusion (D&I), as evidenced by its ISO 30415 Diversity and Inclusion and UNI/PdR 125 Gender Equality certifications. This is a truly important initiative to support female graduates, offering them the same professional and remuneration opportunities as their male colleagues and increasingly supporting the presence of women in the technical sector on a daily basis.
