Redevelopment work on the decommissioned line of the former Circumetnea Railway kicks off.

The intervention, planned in a highly degraded area of the Cappellone neighborhood, will extend for about 1 km and will include the creation of urban furniture equipped for recreation, sports and relaxation.

The realization of the project, prepared by Studio Lenzi Consultant SRL, will last about 1 year and is part of the Integrated Urban Plan of the Province of Catania, which deals with the regeneration of disused and abandoned areas of the former FCE.
